Ottawa, Canada, October 1, 2009 –The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) will host the North American launch of the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Human Development Report 2009 on Monday, October 5. This year’s report focuses on human mobility and development and includes the Human Development Index, which compares levels of human development in 182 countries.
