IMCHA Impact Briefs
Since 2014, the Innovating for Maternal and Child Health in Africa (IMCHA) initiative has made important strides toward improving the lives of women and children in 11 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Co-funded by Global Affairs Canada, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and Canada’s International Development Research Centre, IMCHA is an eight-year, $36-million initiative, that is coming to an end in July 2021.
To promote the initiative’s results and contributions to the field of maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health, many dissemination products have been produced, including an impact brief series outlining the initiative’s approach, highlighting achievements, and sharing success stories. The first three briefs are now available. Read more on the IMCHA model, community engagement for better maternal and child health, and improving quality of care in health facilities.
Stay tuned for more briefs to come!
