February 9, 2023
IDRC and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) are partnering on the eighth Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) research funding call on Implementation research targeting non-communicable disease risk factors associated with city environments.
This GACD funding call will focus on implementation research that leads to improved understanding of how interventions that reduce the risk of non-communicable disease onset or progression can be better adapted to different city environments and/or scaled within and across cities, particularly in low- and middle-income countries or vulnerable populations within high-income countries.

CIHR and IDRC expect to fund two grants for up to five years with a value of up to CAD 2 million each.
