Partnerships
Partnerships are fundamental to IDRC’s Strategy 2030 and its objective to mobilize alliances for impact. Partnerships increase the resources available for research, they mobilize knowledge in and from the Global South and they support a diverse range of actors to contribute meaningfully to global development and to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
We pursue partnerships that will generate greater impact and scale, share knowledge and increase the visibility and credibility of collaborative approaches to research for development. We bring significant experience to partnerships with bilateral aid funders, philanthropic foundations, emerging research for development funders in the Global South and private sector firms around common objectives that align with our Strategy 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
