On June 3, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm EDT, join CanWaCH and IMCHA to explore how the concept of  “evidence to action” was implemented by IMCHA to improve maternal and child health in sub-Saharan Africa.

Today’s world is confronted with an unprecedented need for sound research evidence to inform policies and programs. What can we learn from past experiences? This event will focus on the use of evidence for decision-making to improve maternal and child health. A panel featuring a researcher, a decision-maker, a knowledge broker, and a representative of a non-governmental organization will discuss their experiences in partnering to ensure data users are equipped with relevant evidence to tackle pressing local health systems challenges.

The Innovating for Maternal and Child Health in Africa (IMCHA) initiative’s model to bridge the evidence to action gap will be explored and lessons from implementation research projects to improve maternal and child health outcomes will be discussed.

The event will be offered in English and French. To register click here!
